Born and raised in Northern Utah, Travis Crowther survived a baseball size eye tumor when he was just two years old. An eye exam in second grade revealed he was legally blind without glasses. Despite his vision challenges, Travis was drawing and painting from an early age. He completed his MFA at Utah State University and spent the next 30 years teaching, painting, and travelling. An accomplished artist, he specializes in landscape painting. His paintings reflect his love and understanding of nature.
